The Westboro Baptists were Democrats so they'd probably welcome them. Fred Waldron Phelps Sr. (November 13, 1929 – March 19, 2014) was an American minister and civil rights attorney who served as pastor of the Westboro Baptist Church and became known for his extreme views on homosexuality and protests near the funerals of gay people, military veterans and disaster victims, whose deaths, he believed, were the result of God punishing the U.S. for having "bankrupt values" and tolerating gay people. This is just another example of how the Democrat Party will support whatever gets them elected at the time. They lack core moral values that dictate decent people's positions on issues. They stand for nothing other than politics. If hating Gays and Slavery helped their political power at that point in history, they would have supported it. Today, forcing public schools to allow boys (who thinks they are girls) into girl's sports, gets them support from their radical LGBT base. Today, flip flopping on the Hyde Amendment and forcing even Pro life people to pay to kill unborn babies, gets them support from their radical Feminist abortion groups. Different times, same old Party. |
