Actually both will get you ahead in life. Many studies have shown that people are biased towards attractive people. E.g. Halo effect So this helps them socially be it in school or in work. However, with most societies being meritocratic, education is the main provider of social mobility in moving up the classes and in general brains will provide more mobility than beauty(this is not including extreme cases like models or nobel prize winners). Being a woman myself I find it kind of offensive when people talk about any female getting a better job for her "beauty." Yes it does happen but more often than not females use their brains. If your beautiful and dumb do you get a raise? What about brains and not so attractive? Brains can get you more places like college, great jobs! Side: Brains

It may be true that Brains is more important. But I am curious as to why attractiveness being an indicator of success is a negative thing. Both your brain and physical appearance are genetics. And you have to work hard to keep a great body just like you have to work hard to learn and study. No one said Brains aren't attractive, but Beauty is almost always a factor. Especially in any job that has face to face interactions with customers. Whether you are male or female. Side: Beauty
It is always great to have both, but it usually doesn't work that way. Brains gets you much further in life than beauty does. Beauty can help you with some things like getting out of a speeding ticket or getting a discount on something you really want, but when it comes down to it you can't get ahead in life without brains. You need brains to pass test to get through elementary school, to get through middle school, to get through high school, to get through college, and to get a good job. I mean really your college professor is not gonna put a perfect score on your final exam just because you flirted with him/her they have hundreds of other students to think about ones that actually have brains. In my view, brains get you ahead in life, because appearance is not as important as human`s interior. You can attract attention by beauty, but people won`t liaise with gorgeous case of ugly soul. And if person improve his/her mentality, his/her soul will be beatifull too. Side: Brains

You have a brain for a reason, use it. Having beauty is just a perk and a bonus if you've already got the brains. Beauty may not last long and fade away as time goes on but you've got your brain til' who knows when. Besides, beauty is only in the eye of the beholder. Side: Brains

beauty is more important according to me.Because in our Indian culture if a guy wants to marry girl he firstly see her beauty and after that they wants to know there qualification.in many field beauty matters for eg:1) for a job of air hostess 2)for a job of receptionist 3)in action field and in many other field too.Yes! brain is important somewhere but beauty comes in first always.If a boy starting loving a girl or have a crush on a girl is just because of her beauty usually.
