God: Why?

Why is god all loving? Why is god all powerful? Why is he all knowing? Why did god create things the way they are? Why did god create this universe? Why did god create us the way we are? If god created us in his own image, then why is he human? Why does god think? Why does god care? Why is god intelligent? Why is god silent? Why does god never answer prayers? Why does god allow genocide? Why does god exist? Why does god not need a creator but the universe does?

Why is god all loving?

Because he's incapable of evil.

Why is god all powerful?

I don't know... Because he's God.

Why is he all knowing?

I'm actually not too sure if he is. The Bible contradicts itself a few times regarding his knowledge.

Why did god create things the way they are?

Well, we're supposed to be in his image. As for earth and the rest of the planets... I guess he just really likes spheres.

Besides the natural stuff on Earth, everything else was created by humans.

Why did god create this universe?

I guess he was bored.

Why did god create us the way we are?

Oh... I already answered this. We were made in his image.

If god created us in his own image, then why is he human?

He's not. He's a god.

Why does god think?

That's one of the big mysteries there...

Why does god care?

Because he created everything.

Why is god intelligent?

Isn't this pretty much the same as, "why does God think?"

Why is god silent?

Jesus made sinning forgivable. I guess he doesn't feel the need to be involved anymore.

Why does god never answer prayers?

Maybe he isn't listening...

Why does god allow genocide?

Because he allows free will.

Why does god exist?

This is kind of what I was thinking of when you asked, "why does God think?" It seems like his existence (assuming he does exist) is beyond our comprehension.

Why does god not need a creator but the universe does?

Apparently, he has always existed.

Why is god incapable of evil?

Why was god bored?

Because he created everything.

Why did he create everything?

Jesus made sinning forgivable. I guess he doesn't feel the need to be involved anymore.

Why did Jesus make sinning forgivable? Why does he feel the need to not be involved anymore?

Maybe he isn't listening...

Why is god not listening?

Because he allows free will.

Why does god allow free will?

Why has god always existed?

Why is god incapable of evil?

I think this makes it pretty clear:

"God cannot disobey himself, therefore he can't be evil. So, he must be good, since he does what he wants. He created our moral code. If there were a moral code that guided him, other than his own, then that would imply that there is a power greater than him." - GuitarGuy.

Why is god god?

If he is almighty and eternal he would fit the definition of a God. So, we like call him God.

Why did god create us in his own image?

Is it bad that he did?

Why was god bored?

I don't think he can really get bored.

Why did he create everything?

Only God could answer that. It was his decision.

Why did Jesus make sinning forgivable? Why does he feel the need to not be involved anymore?

So you may enter heaven.

Who says he isn't?

Why is god not listening?

He still is.

Why does god allow free will?

He may see it as optimal.

Why is his existence beyond our comprehension?

It transcends everything we have ever encountered. We can only use the knowledge we have from our perspective.

Why has god always existed?

Not sure. Maybe infinite power = eternal? I like totes have no clue how one would understand it.

Why is god incapable of evil?

Do you just block out previous arguments from your memory whenever you enter a new debate? Damn! Luckily, ILoveVersace explained it for me, so just read her response.

Eh... I'm not going to waste my time with the rest. I'm incapable of having those answers.

That's highly unlikely... Unless you know something that I don't.

Stupid questions dependent on an unsupported fairy tale. They don't need answers.

What is wrong with questioning things? Not a thing, IMHO. .

I don't think anyone can provide answers to those intelligent questions.
