By "God", we will not be proving any particular god, will not be using holy books, will not be trying to prove any particular religion, etc. It will be completely philosophical and/or scientific. By "God" we will not be trying to prove some "thing", "idea", or "concept", but a conscious being of some sort that created our reality. Side: God exists
Does 'God' necessarily have to be 'supernatural' or 'extra-normal'; or, for instance, would a hyper-advanced civilization of 'physical' beings who created the Universe qualify as 'God(s)'? Also, are there any particular achievements and/or characteristics that are fundamental to 'God'? Such as (though, perhaps not limited to); (A) Creation of the Universe (B) Direction/Guiding the progression/evolution of the Universe (C) Omniscience/quasi-Omniscience (D) Omnipotence/quasi-Omnipotence (E) Intervention i.e. 'miracles' (F) Virtues e.g. phenomenal Wisdom, Moral strength, Compassion/Empathy, Loving, ect. ? How about this definition for "God"? -Supreme being over all of the universe. -The creator of the universe and our entire reality. -All knowing over all of our reality. -All powerful over all of our reality. -The cause of the big bang or creation event. -Immortal -Conscious and self aware -No particular attributes like loving, kind, mean, jealous, etc. Side: God exists

ROUND 1 Definition of supernatural 1 : of or relating to an order of existence beyond the visible observable universe; especially : of or relating to God or a god, demigod, spirit, or devil 2 a : departing from what is usual or normal especially so as to appear to transcend the laws of nature b : attributed to an invisible agent https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/supernatural If a simulated reality creator created a matrix, he could make a unicorn appear and then disappear and then turn into a snake and crawl into a hole. To those in the matrix, this would be supernatural, but from outside the matrix, this would be easily explained and perfectly natural. --- Need to satisfy paradoxes It's the age old question. Is reality/the universe, finite or infinite? With a finite reality we must explain how a thing (our reality/universe) can literally exist inside of a literal nothing. I consider this an impossibility from a naturalistic perspective. With an infinite reality/universe, we must explain how a thing (our reality/universe) can never end. I consider this an impossibility from a naturalistic perspective. Answer? It's a computer-like programmed, simulated reality created by a creator. In a simulation, a thing can exist inside of nothing. In a simulation, a thing can go on forever by using program loops. http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/ --- Evidence Physicist James Gates, who served on former President Barack Obama's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology claims he discovered what looked like error-correcting codes, which are used to check for and correct errors that have been introduced through the physical process of computing. Finding that type of code in a universe that is not computed is "extremely unlikely," Gates said. "Error-correcting codes are what make browsers work, so why were they in the equations that I was studying about quarks, and leptons, and supersymmetry?" he said. "That's what brought me to this very stark realization that I could no longer say that people like Max [Tegmark] are crazy." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/ --- In Simulation Theory it states that if civilizations anywhere create simulated realities, & those realities create simulated realities, there is actually almost no chance that you are in a real reality. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ The point? Programs need programmers, & simulated realities need creators. Side: God exists
