God is not some Bleeding heart Liberal handing out unconditional universal salvation.

For all the Christians who believe God is a bleeding heart Liberal,  I want you to think about God's word, and how there are consequences for our choices in life. The words in the Bible are an insight into God's rationale on today's no fault bleeding heart anything goes mindset.

Does God say he will help all people no matter what they believe or choose to do in life? Does he say he will keep them all safe for eternity no matter what? Universal Heaven?

No, God says we as human beings do not receive unconditional salvation in our lives. He gives us choices, and those choices will dictate our futures.

There are many millions of people in this world who live it up, spend every nickel they make on themselves and their fun in life. Then when they have some health problems, they want other people to pay for their medical needs.

This is what Conservatives are against. If we can not afford healthcare, we all have a choice and a responsibility to pass up that nice expensive cell phone, or expensive vacation, or expensive alcohol, or expensive cigarettes, or cars, etc.

There are millions of irresponsible people who never save for a rainy day, never save for their health insurance, or health bills.

These people always seem to find money for cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, etc. but when it comes to their health, they just don't have the money.

A cartoon (ten packs) of cigarettes today can cost up to $80! Do you know what that would cost per month? That alone would help pay for their healthcare!

Conservatives are fine with paying for life threatening illnesses if the person has no means of paying for it, but we do not want universal healthcare for elective or minor illnesses. Our nation is 20 Trillion in debt and we can not afford it!

If people refuse to save for their health, I sure do not want to pay for it just so they can enjoy their vices and fun playthings.

They'll try to claim he was a "Socialist", the problem being no one got fed or healed without following him or having faith.

He also said he came first for the Jews, then the Gentiles and that he was the only way to the father. The libs would want to toss him out in the street.

Actually, plenty of people were healed and fed without true belief. For example, in the gospels, Jesus healed 10 lepers. Only 1 actually chose to thank him or believe. So... maybe re-read some of the stories you're trying to forget are in the Bible.

That'd be interesting if that were even remotely true.

11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[a] met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

Yes, Liberal's only have tolerance for a God that fits into their LGBTQRSUVWXYZ abortion loving political correct ideology. They hate so called fundamental Bible believing Christians and a fundamental God.

DUDE. Have you even READ the Bible? God and Jesus were totally radical in love, acceptance, and treating others with dignity and respect, even if you didn't agree with them. I mean, Jesus hung out with a whore, a bunch of asshole teenagers, and the elderly. The whole theme of the gospels is "don't be a dick to each other"... Maybe you should read the actual Bible rather than rely on the bullshit some moronic asshat interpreted.

Obviously you can't read. I never said we should not help those who can not help themselves, or not be among those who are lost.

The entire point of my debate is making the OBVIOUS point that God expects us to follow his word to be saved for eternity. CAN YOU GRASP THAT SIMPLE FACT. He's not a bleeding heart Liberal!

All those people you speak of, that we should treat with love and respect will end up in Hell if they choose their own immoral selfish lives over God. God expects people to make the right moral choices or there will be consequences.

Try reading the actual bible instead of listening to new age Liberal Christians who have created their own man made cult. According to these new age Liberal Churches, people can be Gay, they can support abortions, etc. and God no longer cares.

Love love love love, this is the only part of God's message that new age Christians talk about. They refuse to talk about a judgment day for those who deny Christ.

Do you think pro choice people who support killing unborn babies (that God says he knows in the womb) are good people?

Abortion shows the phoniness of what mankind now considers being a good person. The world is so lost and in denial of what they have become.

You speak of the Old Testament, pre-Jesus. That is the part of the Bible where the "do what I say or go to hell" rules exist. The GOSPELS speak of love, love, acceptance, love, and more love. If you can support your claim with actual Biblical text, I'd believe you.

I DO read the actual Bible. I've studied it forward and backward. It's you who obviously has not, as you cannot support your claims with anything from the Bible. Sure, you may find some whiny Paul quotes in his letters condemning homosexuality. But Paul also condemned marriage, so he may not be the best person to get advice from.

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Does God say he will help all people no matter what they believe or choose to do in life? Does he say he will keep them all safe for eternity no matter what? Universal Heaven?

YES. THIS IS EVIDENT IN THE PARABLE OF THE WORKERS IN THE VINEYARD IN MATTHEW 20:1-16. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE PARABLE REFERS TO. THE WHOLE PREMISE IS THAT, REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG THE WORKERS WERE WORKING, THEY WERE PAID THE SAME AMOUNT. THIS IS REPRESENTATIVE OF GOD NOT CARING WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE, ONLY THAT YOU DID CHOOSE TO BELIEVE.

In response to your moronic belief that "good conservatives shouldn't pay for healthcare for others" maybe check out Deuteronomy 15:11, Galatains 6:2, Hebrews 6:10, Hebrews 13:16, John 15:12, Luke 6:38... and most of the rest of the Bible. Or just read the whole bit about the early church in Acts 2:42-47. In fact, the description of the early believers is pretty communistic if you actually read it.

You have bought into this Liberal cult of no fault Christianity... EVERYONE IS SAVED!!!! LIVE HOW YOU PLEASE BECAUSE IT NO LONGER MATTERS!

That is a lie from Satan himself and for you to compare the message of Mathew 20:1-16 to salvation, is beyond ludicrous.

You take a gigantic moronic leap to suggest the message of God telling workers to be thankful for what they are paid instead of demanding to be paid the same as others, and throwing out the many many Bible verses speaking to Christ being the only way to heaven, makes you a waste of time on a debate site.

I haven't BOUGHT INTO anything. I just read the Bible. In context. In 8 different translations. It says the same thing over and over. In this section of the Bible, Jesus is talking to the disciples about heaven. He uses this analogy because it is one the disciples would understand. The discussion comes right after the discussion of the rich man and the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”

28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[e] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

This immediately leads into Matthew 20:1-16 where Jesus uses the parable of the workers to explain to the disciples that, though their work is not in vain, they forgiveness of others is just as valid.

I'm not putting words in Jesus' mouth. I AM LITERALLY COPYING FROM THE BIBLE.

Obviously you haven't read the Bible, or you would know that. By saying that one has to live a conservative and "perfect" life in order to be saved, you are NEGATING CHRIST'S SACRIFICE. He didn't die for people who were "good Christians". HE DIED TO FORGIVE SINNERS OF THEIR SINS. PERIOD. UNCONDITIONALLY.

People like you are why atheism runs so rampant in the world. People hear idiots like you claiming that Jesus dislikes a group of people or didn't come to save everyone. Jesus doesn't hate people. YOU hate people. Jesus loved everyone. Bleeding heart liberals. Cold hearted conservatives. Moderates. EVERYONE.

Stop negating Jesus by pushing your own biased and WRONG agenda.

So the next time you say that we should all give our money for universal healthcare because it's what God wold have Christians do? Don't!

God is not a bleeding heart no fault kind of guy. God realizes that the no fault mentality leads to millions more broken lives.

Where in the BIBLE does it say this? I mean... I've read the thing cover to cover about 12 times and I haven't found any evidence to support your claim.

See, you can't find any. Because there is nothing in the Bible to support you.

Beware false prophets...
