I sat in on a discussion between two friends who attended Harvard and Yale. Snottiness is an issue at Harvard, from what I hear. And often you'll be taking classes under TA's instead of the actual professors-- unfortunately a deceptive selling point of the school. They're generally doing research and the like, and you will probably not meet the actual profs until about Jr. year. Just one dude's experience. Side: Yale
Harvard is set as a the best school one can go to. The problem is, many people who get into Harvard became snobby and think their much higher than everyone else just because others did not get into Harvard. Yale has a much friendlier environment.Instead of being the crammed kind of kids who have high standards, everyone is able to work with each other without any animosity. Yale FTW Side: Yale

I went to visit Harvard. The people kinda sucked. They were stuck up, and did not seem very fun. When I visited Yale I got the exact opposite impression. I was treated extremely well, and the people were very friendly. I mean no offense to to any Harvard students or graduates, I am merely speaking to my own experience. Side: Yale
