Capitalism is a failure.Get this,95% of all income is made by 5% of the population. So we have about 154.5 million people in the working class that live off that 5% of income left over to support their families and send their kids to college and pay the taxes. In this last recession 8.3 million jobs were lost and most were outsourced to some other part of the world. The current unemployment rate according to the Feds is 9.7% and with those unemployed not looking for work or underemployed that figure is probably closer to 20%.So now we have 123.6 million in the working class supporting over 305 million of the population.Factor in 20 to 30 million illegal immigrants that those people in the working class also pay for and the millions that they send home weekly.Only the elitist would say Capitalism is perfect. We have had a declining standard of living for decades and every recession seems to have a bleaker outlook for recovery than the next.Throw in a 13 Trillion National Debt and 50 years of trade deficits. The Capitalism that was born in the late 1960's is a Pozzi Scheme that America is vested in that has sucessfully gutted our manufactoring base to its core. Its has left us as a money losing service oriented sink or swim skeleton of the great nation that our forefathers handed to us.The Big Corporations,Wall Street and the Baking Industry that the 5 percenters own, control our politicians too and will further combat any real reforms that may save us from any real economic recovery.

You are arguing points that are byproducts of capitalism and not principles of capitalism.

Byproducts and those kinds of statistics don't lie.If we as a country can not bounce back from this economic recovery,as grim as it really is ,Capitalisim in its current form is just like putting all our chips in at a craps table in Vegas where the dealer always wins. That dealer is Big Corporations and foreign interests which sets the odds of winning and is never in control of the patrons which consists of the citizens of the United States. Our forefathers and The Constitution and everything that this great nation has stood for was never mean't to be put in the control of so few.Our Freedom and sovereignty and the brave souls that gave us those rights have been put on the auction block to the highest bidder.

Capitalism is controlled by the government other systems aren't how can they be inferior to capitalism. Although capitalism isn't the best it isn't the worst

If Capitalism isn't the best system, then the true best system hasn't been discovered yet.

The idea that Capitalism is inherently evil is just wrong. Instead of oppressing the successful, like other types of government, Capitalism provides a way out of poverty for the lucky, creative, or intelligent. Self-reliance is the cornerstone of Capitalism; if someone is wasteful or foolish with their money, they can lose it all, as we have seen before.

Capitalism is the best because it has proven to take the hardest working people out of poverty and create a stronger society. Creates the most opportunity and the makes a happier population.

Side: No, it is the best system!

Until a better alternative arises, capitalism is the best system we have.
