Of course not. Homosexuality occurs naturally and their brains are perfectly healthy.

There is absolutely nothing to make us assume it is any sort of mental illness. Homosexuals don't hear voices, they don't see things, they function in society just fine and have since the beginning of mankind.

There is no evidence being gay is a mental illness, or has any negative effect on the one who is gay, or on anyone else.

The most common reasons people come up with to explain homosexuality is as Genetic, Mental, or Choice. I myself go with mental, yet not mental "illness". I, being Bisexual, find it very offensive to say the cause of my sexuality being something as that of a mental "illness". The persons brain tells them who they are sexually attracted to, and ever since I checked, sexual attraction isn't an illness :]

Homosexuality is natural. It is nothing to be ashamed about. The bigotry must end.
