Yes it is!!!!!! Islam encourages violence just as much as Christianity!!!!!!! For centuries now both religions have been run by leaders who encourage expansion by force and murdering anyone who gets in their way.

This cannot be debated!!!!! Islam originates in the Asia minor region but threw war and violence they expanded into west Africa, east into parts of China and finally north in the failed attempt to conquer Europe via Spain and the Romania/Hungarian region.

Christianity was far more successful conquering the majority of the world and its violence can be illustrated best by the crusades when the pope then at the time said killing an infidel will grant your way to heaven.

Hears the truth. The most BIGGEST BUSINESS in the world is not WALL-MART……….Its religion!!!!!! Billions of people across the world drop dollars and change every day of the week because they feel it will grant their way to heaven.

Its not ISLAM’s religion per say that causes violence, but the majority of its leaders who advocate violence or do not stop the radicals who come to recruit at their mosques and no one can deny that in the Middle East the mosque is the primary station of requirement. It’s not to say that the believers are not responsible either, many are lost because of their situation and hear a man or so tell them what they all want to hear. The Americans are the cause of our situation and it’s not our fault or our governments fault or our religious leaders fault either.

People rarely take responsibility for our wrong doing, its all people’s nature, no matter your race/religion. These terrorist leaders/ religious leaders are causing this violence, either threw direct advocacy or by simply doing nothing to stop it.

With the exception of maybe Buddhism and Hinduism, Religion gives people power!!!!! And power corrupts the soul!!!!

Believing in a higher power is a great thing!!!!! But when people get involved, it becomes about power.

Christianity has become less violet from its past exploits. But Islam still has too much power in its regions government!!!! Ex USA/ Europe, since the idea of separation of church and state…… violence from religious members is far less than religious members whose government is in a religious state. i.e. Middle East. I’m not saying we do not commit violence in genera, we have a very violent history, but violence that is inspired by religion does not come close as it does with ISLAM!!!!

when you watch the deliberately fallacious media and believe without subjecting islam to your own independent investigation it is a violent religion.

But when you go to the knowledgeable muslims directly or a mosque you'll find out that this religion is peaceful, truthful, and the best way to live (that's why an average of 100,000 westerners embrace islam annually)

I bet they don't convert to islam because we (the muslims) threaten to blow their brains with bullets and bombs.
