We live in a culture where people are valued because of their looks and if someone does not like what they look like, there is the most common and popular option changing the appearance through plastic surgery. Yong people become obsessed with the Hollywood celebrity style image. Teenagers think improving their appearance through the plastic surgery all of the problem will be fixed which is not true; they should understand that it can be influence on their physical health and mental health. I think its bad. There are so many arguments against plastic surgery. The first argument is that there are many negative opinions related to health against teenagers having plastic surgery. Studies show that there are risks behind every plastic surgery from minor effects such as permanent scarring to serious affect which some will even lead to death. There are concerns about plastic surgery on teenagers as their body is still maturing. Infections are major problem faced by teenagers, especially in the first three months after having their plastic surgery. Other than that, there are cases that show serious effects of plastic surgery. Also when teenagers do not satisfied with their appearance after the surgery may end up with committing suicide or having another plastic surgery in order to correct it.

Our society is changing into one where people (especially girls) feel as though they have to look good in order to feel good about themselves. I don't even think that make-up should be as prominent in teenage girls' lives as it is, but that is a different topic. Girls feel as though they have to be accepted by the "popular" people, and so they change themselves to fit in. Honestly, plastic surgery should be illegal until you are 18 unless there is some kind of emergency, or something happens (such as being in a car accident and your face becoming disfigured).

I don't think they are mature enough to make a life change like that. Plus, it's a time where you don't build self esteem- but not physically.

Wait until you are older,then have a plastic surgery..............................
