Yay, love these sorts of problems. A C C U R I E S A C C U R I E S A C C U R I E S A C C U R I E S + A C C U R I E S __________________ M A T H E M A T I C S Ok, S is a number, times by 5, that leaves the end digit being S, so it's either 0 or 5. In fact, all of these letters are multiplied by 5, so they should all have ended in in 0 or 5 unless they were affected by the other numbers being multiplied. So C is either 5 (if S was 0) or 7 or 2 (if S was 5) I also has to be 0 or 5. If I was 5 then S would be 0 and C would be impossible. Therefore I is 0, S is 5 and C is 7 or 2. Which then leaves me stumped due to the fact that T must either be a 0 or 5. I'll post this now and leave it for someone to check my logic. 1
