The Iowa Caucus continues to be a debacle for the Democrats
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez called for an immediate recanvassing in the Iowa caucuses on Thursday after days of mounting concerns surrounding the accuracy of the results.
Perez’s call came after The New York Times reported on Thursday that the results “were riddled with inconsistencies and other flaws.”
“Enough is enough,” Perez said. “In light of the problems that have emerged in the implementation of the delegate selection plan and in order to assure public confidence in the results, I am calling on the Iowa Democratic Party to immediately begin a recanvass.”
Why is it Democrats have trouble with simple math.

CNN Senior Washington Correspondent Jeff Zeleny added: “The Iowa Democratic Party did not have advance warning that @TomPerez was calling for a recanvass of the Iowa caucus results, two people familiar with the matter tell @CNN . Perez doesn’t point out that the DNC has been running the show in Iowa for the last 48 hours.” Democrats have made a mess of their party in Iowa. 0
