What is the difference between a geek and a nerd

I know some of you might believe that there is no deference, but personally i would much rather be a nerd than a geek.

Nerds are technically inclined, intelligent, creative, and dedicated to a degree which deprives them from social interaction, leading then to dress and act in ways that aren't "cool."

Geeks are fanatics, and seek isolation from society, and are much sooner elitist than nerds.

Both are picked on.

Nerds are born, geeks are made.

I like that.

Interesting and well put together.

Some geeks are born, made to raise the robots. Colored in there red white and blue... spider jammies.

People have different opinions on it, but mine was always that a geek is somebody who acts outside the norm of society while a nerd is somebody who invest more in intellectual studies rather than stuff like sports.

That's kinda how I see it a nerd is the Clark Kent type bloke, skinny, glasses and always in the library whereas being a geek is more like having a specialist subject, which sometimes you take too far for instance I can be really geeky about movies, books and music.

One is intelligent and weird, the other is just weird. I think geeks are lonely too, as opposed to nerds who might hang together.

Throw in dweeb and dork, and you have weird, not smart, and hangs in packs or solo.
