education must be free of religious influences and influences of political movements

education must be free of religious influences and influences of political movements so that the children will not be affected. Instead children should learn about all religions and political movements to build up knowledge and empathy to be able to look at various problems with a neutral eye.

You're talking about a task which is impossible under the present social order. Education is a breeding ground for the dominant ideology to perpetuate itself in any culture. Think back to your own schooldays. Were there many class discussions about whether everything is fucked or not? Was capitalism ever reasoned out to you? Was anything involved in capitalism ever reasoned out to you? If so, were you provided with the counterarguments? Were you given space and opportunity to make up your own mind?

If your school was anything like mine (and every other school) it will have been utilitarian rather than critical. The idea is to teach you how to survive in the system rather than teach you to ask questions about why we are doing it this way in the first place.

Hello nom:

Yeah.. Socialism was discussed.. It sounded good.. Everybody is equal. Nobody has more than anybody else.. I like the sound of a resource based society.

But, when I asked the teacher HOW somebody would put dinner on the table for their family, she had no answer. Would the person in charge of resources deliver dinner? What if I didn't like it? What if the vegetables were rotten? Who do I complain to??

So, until you can tell me HOW I'd FEED my family, your resource based society is a figment of your imagination. It's like your time machine, isn't it??

Dude!

Hello Excon. You see how easy it is to be polite and honest? You can actually have a discussion with someone!!

But, when I asked the teacher HOW somebody would put dinner on the table for their family, she had no answer.

I'm not surprised buddy. The question is nonsensical because it presumes that food is made out of money, or capitalism, or that people only eat food in capitalist societies, or that people didn't eat before capitalist societies. In other words, in order to even answer that question, you have to presume a bunch of garbage to be true which self-evidently is not true.

Lol. Awww, aren't you just cute as a button? You're asking me how I'd provide resources in a resource based society?

My schooldays aren't over yet and in my school we're only taught about socialism. That's the only right way of thinking, according to my school, teachers, and even school books. We don't have the opportunity to discuss about this or make up our own minds.

And the only religion we ever hear about is Christianity and we have no knowledge about other religions. Resulted in ignorance instead of empathy.

Education should give us the foundation to make up our own minds. Instead of telling us what's right and what's wrong.

Education must be free of a big Federal Government forcing their political LGBT alphabet of the month into our public schools. They want to teach our children to deny the Science of Biology.

No Federal Government should ever force religion into our public schools. That would be a Theocracy.

There is a difference between a Federal Government Theocracy, and the freedom of every community to decide for themselves how their schools are run.

If the people in each community vote to have a simply prayer at beginning of day, it is their right to do so.

Children should never be forced to pray along, but to censor the most basic of freedoms from our public schools, is just as wrong.

By censoring every Pubic school from a prayer, it is a big Federal Government forcing their humanism onto every school.

Neither a Theocracy or Humanocracy should be forced on every school.

I believe in school choice whereby parents can pick the schools that most fit the curriculum they would choose. If you fear a simple prayer of love in your school, then choose a school that does not do so.

Freedom is not rocket science.
