This is going to be difficult to D. Advocate for... put on my mask

We should! If it minimizes the discomfort of the people from their current 'government' (the only real government is one by the people, democracy!) causes them, then yes as it is the humanitarian thing to do.

It also quickens the inevitable, as all governments become a democracy eventually... take a look at the 1989 revolts, even the idealogical opposite will eventually fall to the will of the people! cough, sorry

As democracy works so well for us, it must work good for everyone right? Cough Well after a couple years of cutting out the people from the despots from the last government from the system, as they shouldn't be put back into power even if the people vote for them! Because they did bad things right, that's why we are doing this.

The real reason is to get buffer in an inevitable 2nd cold war and to maximize our current advantages against whatever the new competing ideology will be.

I am a horrible devils advocate...

Side: Yes, we should

Unfortunately, no, that must come at the will of the people; it has been proven with the Iraq War with forced Democracy and wildly expensive.

forced democracy goes against its philosiphy, so no, you shouldnt, all governments are flawed anyway

Absolutely not.

When you are born into a certain environment you get used to the way things are done around. And that goes for all walks of life. The tribes in Africa view their lifestyle as normal, Chinese is China do the same. Canadians in Canada, Mexicans in Mexico so on and so forth. Of course it would be easy to peg all these countries that don't have democracy as "corrupt". But are we perfect? No, and we would be arrogant to assume so. I think everyone has the right to live the way they want. And seriously, if you think your country can go across the globe and convert everyone without stirring the water, you've tripped up somewhere in your thought process. Making everyone the same is not going to solve anything.

Countries need to focus on themselves and perhaps others will follow suit, just in their own ways.

No I 'm thinking the best move would be somthing like what Germany does a leader a secong leader and few others, butslightly more along the of dictatorship, after all its not bad to be lead by one if that won listens to his peoples and is wise, not crazy
