Some people may use the ability to express their opinions on a platform to manipulate unsuspecting people. They can spread misinformation under the cover of "political education", that can lead to more blind votes than there previously would have been.
TB: Social media is not good for democracy, because there is no room for changing opinions. On social networks, people tend to converse with those that have similar ideas to themselves, and stay away from people with opposing ideas. This is a very fixed state to be in as there is no moving forward due to the lack of diverse opinions in groups of people.
