a picture alone may not be as useful. it may not give people the full understanding of certain topics as not everything can be represented by pictures. words may be more powerful in building up the basic understanding of certain issues and pictures are only able to enhance people's understanding. hence, pictures alone are not enough to convey the reality of things and educate someone about something and therefore, not more powerful than mere words.
pictures are more powerful than mere words. picture is a universal tool of communication whereby everyone can understand it. it can reach almost everyone, from young children to the elderly, from educated to the literate. this makes pictures way more powerful than words as it can carry the message across to the majority.
