Words alone confuse people easily if the person is very influencing to other. For example, people trust famous economists and politicians such as Barack Obama because they hold certain level of influening power. Hence, their words alone can actually affect the whole world greatly.
A picture is more useful when it comes to teaching because it is more easily be processed by students especially those in elementary level. Thier information processing ability may not be that good enough to process words. Hence, a picture is more powerful when it comes to sending a direct and simple information.
