killing the criminal does nothing. I think they should live and face some serious punishments like "life sentence". they should feel and see what they've done. they should see that their miserable life now, is the result of their previous action. this will help others to see that no good ending is waiting for them if they commit the crime!
but still, I support what "sunset" said. in those cases, it can act as a pain killer for victimized people.
