I disagree because classroom debate allows one to be fully prepared and depend on oneself , but online debating allows people to seek help from others , or 'gang' together to support their point. The students need to be fully prepared for the research as well as the rebuttals. Also , they need to find loopholes in people's point. Hence , class debating enforce the students with listening skills and also oral as they need to be clear on their stand. On the other hand , online debating doesn't help the students anything but reseach more and see who has a more detailed one.
