I respect both games-they are 2 of the classic gaming franchises with FF, Megaman, and Zelda. Mario was revolutionary for its gameplay, you really liked navigating through the levels and getting to level boss. But Sonic did things Mario could never imagine. Sonic could blast up a hill and speed out of the seen. Remember chemical zone in Sonic 2-amazing level. Sonic is so fast hear and it awesome how he defies gravity when he jumps of a spring. Supersonic is surreal. The only that mario's got on Sonic is the various suits (but thats something he got from Keith Courage TG-16).
