No. If children were "equal" then what is the point of freedom of expression and our individualism?

Seriously you are against students freedom to expression and individualism? It DOES NOT form a family friendly environment. I mean in high school we are not little kids any more so why should it matter if we wear a shirt that says 'fuck' on it? Schools are bad enough with people skipping and fighting. And uniforms don't change that. Your argument is very invalid.

I think if you get raped and you get pregnant. That is the only excuse to get an abortion. Other than that, no.

Your statement is completely invalid. You say that what ever you wear distracts us from education but regardless you say the school is for education. What does Fashion have to do with Education? They come to learn and what ever they wear will not make a difference because I know schools that don't have uniforms and they good. Try again...

I can make an essay on why we SHOULD NOT have school uniforms but to make it short

1)Takes away our freedom to expression

2)Takes away our individualism

3)gang argument is completely invalid

4)Professionalism argument is invalid

5)ANYONE can put a school logo on a polo shirt

5)Equality argument is invalid

6)Unnecessary expenses for parents

Wanna argue? Try me..

I can make an essay on why we should NOT have to wear uniforms but to make it short:

1)It takes away our individualism

2)It takes away our freedom of expression

3)Professionalism argument is completely invalid

4)Equity argument is invalid

5)ANYONE can put a school logo on a polo and walk into a school.

Your argument is invalid because it is not the "richer" students' fault that "poorer" kids can't afford nice clothes. People with nice clothes should not suffer like that. Please try again.

So you're saying it's THEIR fault we have to wear uniforms, just cause other people don't wanna pay them?! You're argument is very invalid. Try again.

This is exactly what I am talking about. For example, you go buy a really nice Avenged Sevenfold shirt that you really really want to wear. You can tell that person is a rock fan. So it is easier to express one another to wear what you want.

That is why schools have DRESS CODES instead of A UNIFORM POLICY. Dress code tell you HOW you can wear your clothes. Not WHAT to wear.

If school if for education then why does it matter what you wear? By YOUR logic it should matter if a student is wearing a regular shirt because he/she got his/her education. All uniform free school is like ANY other school that has uniforms.

So just because some families have lesser money, the students that do have money have to suffer for it? It is not their fault you know.

Hello, I am a student who goes to Miami Killian Senior High School located in Miami-Dade County in Florida of the United States. Uniforms are okay to wear. But when a school, an educational facility forces students to wear certain clothing? I don't think that's right. I think it is very unfair. I find it very hypocritical that a teacher constantly complains about students not wearing uniforms when he/she does not wear uniforms at all. If you make students wear them, then make the teachers wear them to. Bottom line. Not a dress, a polo.

Making Students wear uniforms is like taking their freedom of expression. Because when some one wears a shirt they like, you cal learn from that person and what his/her interests are. For example, You see a person wearing an Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt. Okay, You can tell he/she is a fan of Avenged Sevenfold and that he/she likes rock. Or if you see someone wearing an Eminem t-shirt. You can tell he/she likes Eminem and he/she likes rap. But you really can't express your self much if you are wearing uniforms can you?

Furthermore, I would like a legitimate reason for students having to wear uniforms. Are they for Professionalism? I disagree because regardless of uniforms or not the school grades will still be the same and there will still be fights in schools. Anclote High School located in Holiday, Florida does not have uniforms yet they are still they same as any other high school that wears or doesn't wear uniforms. I would suggest to make uniforms OPTIONAL for students. High School would be better if you let students wear what they want. But I do agree with a Dress Code, meaning Clean Cloths and such.
