I've been to New Orleans twice since Katrina. Some of the buildings still have busted out windows but I can tell you this: the party scene has rebounded. I love New Orleans, its just like Vegas wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

I love the idea in concept but find it disconcerting whenever I have to concentrate my ID/PW from one site with another. I think FriendFeed mainly using screenscraping to gather its data, which is bad. It would be a lot better if it worked through a secure API (but, alas, not everybody offers secures APIs).
