"Without God there is no morality. Simple as that. No objective morality. Other than what society dictates, but then we get to that gut feeling. We know murder is wrong, but we can't go on feelings. For hundreds of years faggots were wrong. Evolutionary speaking they are not contributing to the gene pool. So that throws the majority argument out the window. If every person on this planet was a homo our species would succumb. If every person on this planet was a murderer our species would die out also. Alas, homos are A-Okay. Now, you say, but homos aren't harming anyone. Harming? What is harming? Why is it wrong to pain someone. Life is just a bunch of molecules. We are just stardust oozing. Why not kill and have fun? Are you really just listening to what society says like they have done with the gays in the past. You live. You die. It does not even matter if our species die out, because life is one big accident. So murder is not wrong. If you can teach your kids that and form a society where males challenge each other to the death for a female. Your species will still survive. I bet Nazi Germany thought killing Jews was okay. If no one intervened it would be okay."

I posing my best argument for if I were an atheist.

He does not need it. In fact you don't have to. Well I have sung praises to men with faults... then surely a perfect God ought to be praised. The fact that He let's himself be praised by wicked men... Is a mystery. God can't go against his character and therefore can't stand sin. That is the reason for hell. Holy wrath. (According to Christianity) I have nothing against a perfect God bragging if he can back it up.

You told me you were a Christian. See now I see where you are coming from... the Christian Left (oxymoron).

I am tired of the gays pushing their agenda. They need to stop. Their movements only angers conservatives. I like the way the Russians respond to their parades.

''You do that. Keep living in your delusion and ill enjoy my life without having to pay "respects" to a cosmic ju-ju in the sky and instead devote that energy to maintaining the world and spreading science, knowledge, and truth to all humanity.''

There is the god hater I wanted to see. Oh and I do get good grades in physics and chemistry but do not consider evolution a science. Go! spread your religion god hater. You are a fallacy man. No matter what enormous complexity we face... we just have to make up a good story of how it evolved. Spreading evolution is lying so, why on earth would I do that? Infinite time does not cancel out the law of large numbers. If all the people on the earth had to toss a coin a hundred times, none of them would get heads each time. (I know you hate this argument, I use it to show that the chances are slim.) Then you'll say, my non friend, there are milliooooons of possibilities... bla bla bla. I mean what are the chances of evolving in a world we see today. Goodbye god hater. I know you guys arent objective but I am not lying when I say that I have read about all the theories you so love. Now do yourself a favor and be a little bit objective... it won't kill you. I know I am not smart, but a complete imbecile can see that evolution is the biggest fraud ever driven by lies upon lies.

Exactly. I could not agree more. That is called cessationism. You must change your argument. When I say after the apostles I am talking about a time after the apostles the gifts faded away. You are on the wrong team.

1 point

Okay then. Since you are so brilliant. Can you disprove that God exists. I mean there must be some way to disprove it. If you can't, you have to admit a bias. I will gladly admit mine but I once considered evolution and now find it absolutely silly. There are more scientific things going on in art classes than classes about evolution and I love science. Why can't a God create simpler versions of things? Why aren't there any living transitional forms. Why did they all die out? Why do some nectar attract insects... was it dumb luck? The sticky pollen coincidentally has a use. The seeds coincidentally evolved wings. I love this cool coincidences. I love the way the mammal's heart and lungs evolved simultaneously and blood vessels and macrophages and the nervous system just correctly at the right places. There must have been millions of failures though but somehow it worked out despite the law of large numbers. This is assume. If I ever had this luck Id go to Vegas immediately. Considering that we would die quickly without a lymph system it must have evolved quickly coincidentally. Maybe nature had some good luck one day. Some very good luck. You see random chance. I see an engineering masterpiece ruined by man. It is all a matter of perception. How did it work out so well?Yes there are errors but this will be expected with the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. What are the chances of a fully functioning eye evolving? How did the flagellum evolve? Can you explain to me how a virus evolved considering that it doesn't really live. Why do some butterflies have mimicry on their wings that are very specific to animals that live near them? You can't deny that it does seem logical to believe in a creator whether he abandoned us or not. I have hope and you do not. So yeah I am gonna enjoy my life but pay my due respects to the one who made it.

Hey, we have been arguing over the past few days but I agree with you. Christianity is plagued by millions of fakers. True Christians are a rare species.

Well, firstly you must define worst because that can vary and secondly Christianity is plagued by millions of fakers. If you want to see true Christians you got to read the book they love but seeing as you are biased against them, you probably wouldn't dare go near a Bible... cause Jesus was a tyrant, wasn't he. And man is the Best. Unfortunately, I do not agree with you but thanks to you, I stand firmer in my belief as a Christian.

You find comfort in eternal nothingness. If your worldview is correct then why do we need morals. If I could kill someone and get away with it. It seems nice. I can lie, steal and cheat and as long as I don't get caught by other humans I don't need a conscience. That is a comfortable life on earth and then when I die nothingness. I on the other hand may have the worst life on earth and have to listen to my conscience and turn the other cheek. I don't know why I argue with you because it is like telling a blind deaf man to walk around a round table and sing a song. You, as an atheist... it is your duty to hate Christianity and I like the way you mock our beliefs. If you are correct and we end up in dirt... so what. But if Christians are corrects...

What good is 5 percent of an eye. How did the eye evolve. Was the first one a flop... it is as if the mechanisms of evolution hold some sort of intelligence. Explain this. Can you flip a coin 100 times and get heads each time. This example has a much higher chance of success than evolution.

Antidote: To those of us who have brains, it should be obvious that they didn't create themselves.

What are the honest mathematical chances of evolution? C'mon you know what I am talking about. I am speaking about the Mathematicians that calculated it and that is why I say that there is a slim chance of evolution. I don't expect you to see the truth because you willingly ignore it. You find comfort in the billions of lies by so called scientific evidence. One day, regret will be the only thing you feel. But as of now, you may mock my beliefs but I am saddened by the blindness of people. It is as if the idea of a God disgusts you. The idea of such men disgusts God and in the end I know who's going to end the victor.

There is nothing morally wrong about it. It is just difficult to merge some cultures.

Zero evidence. Maybe it is a trick of the mind but when people die they don't become ghosts.

Jesus is part of the Trinity and thus he is God. It is clear in the Scriptures that he was sent to the earth for the salvation of (the wicked) man.

1 point

That is what I believe but when I say after the apostles, I mean a few years after their lives. I am not saying that others did not have these gifts, I am saying that they aren't here today. Look up cessationism and continuationism. We are in 100% agreement.

Oh Yes. Evolutionists are such good liars because they get away with it but common sense tells you that the universes greatest engineer (God) created everything. The fact that evolutionists would bet their eternal life on such slim chances is utterly stupid to me.

Not prophesy or tongues as the purposes of these have already been fulfilled. Teaching... Yes. Love. Yes. Healing... NO.

Your argument belongs on the left side. I believe they aren't with us today... these gifts.

Yes, the bible is pretty clear about it but what stirred me to create this debate was the false church that is rapidly outgrowing the true biblical model. Sad really.

People can die with no energy. Global warming is just a over hyped theory.
