No, although they CAN influence our generation they have a choice whether to be that way or not. The rappers we listen to now could be bad influences but that doesn't mean the listeners are gonna be that way. Someone could listen to music but choose to be the complete opposite but still like the music. Therefore its about how the person listening to the music is and does not mean that they are gonna be severely influenced by it.
