It means that Internet (see computers) made it possible for you to meet. Hence, computers bring happiness to your life. So, how can we say that computers steal our personal time? Or, our personal time is stolen by marriage?! Of course, no! Consequently, computers make our life easier. At least they brought love in somebody's life. That's great. Technology affects veery aspect of our lives. I think computers make our life easier. At first I want to say that new technologies especially computers save us time. it change everything. since computers and the internet have expanded in such a way in which education can be delivered to students, it is currently possible to engage in "distance education through the internet". thanks to it you should not spend time for driving. also in some cases computers improve the quality and quantity of education. but what about social communication between people I thing that technology damages our interpersonal communication! for instance, three years old children are spending their time with computer, paying games and so on, instead playing games with neighborhood children as hide-and-seek, football...whatever. In my point of view it depends on how one uses computer. If s/he uses it just for entertainment like playing games, watching films or chatting and s/he spends all the time on computer, then of course it steals our personal time. If one uses computer with some aims like finding some useful information from the Internet, typing some documents, reading news or just to say “hello” to your mother from Skype if you are abroad then computers make our life easier. In addition, we can earn money using the Internet. Today there are a lot of possibilities not only to find a job from the Internet, but also to buy some clothes, to buy a ticket or to pay some bills. On the other hand, computers are harmful for people’s health. We can damage our eyesight and there is a big radiation from the computer. Anyway, if you will follow some rules such as wearing protecting glasses and not spending a lot of time on computer, then everything will be ok. They make our lifes easier because we can use Microsoft Word and type some a project up and then you can print out that project that you typed up. Also you can watch TV on the computer and do so many things with the computers. If computers were not invented our social life would be a little boring. Throughout the last decade I have found that computer access can be either beneficial or malefic. If the computer is utilized to our advantage, then it can be a source of good. An example could potentially be this website; people use this website to discuss a variety of issues, to exchange positions and to perhaps even be swayed in their thinking. Another good use of the computer is for research. One can easily find a great amount of information (albeit, ofttimes tainted) through Google and a variety of other search engines. Likewise, as I stated previously, computers can have a malefic affect on their users. One can become addicted to games and social networking, which eventually may interfere with their personal life and health. I have found from personal experience in locations which offer public Internet access that most tend to use the Internet for playing games, watching YouTube videos, and social networking. Another downfall is the decline of book-reading. More and more people tend to use the computer for the above malefic purposes, rather than educational ones. This, I believe, has brought about the fall in other forms of expression including the most important in the history of the world: books. A near 25% fall, to be more precise. As a book collector, this has caused me some bit of fright; the feel of the paper, the smell of a fresh, new book: the entire book experience is the love of my life, and it is falling miserably into the gutter. Thus, I do not consider myself unbiased enough to make such a declaration, but I shall do so regardless: the internet/computer is a source of evil in this world.
