Well Joan of Arc was in a war and gave orders to massacre the damned Brits.

Susan B Anthony was a rebel.

Elizabeth Bathory was a crazed serial killer.

Justin (Emperor of Constantinople) married a prostitute. She was probably the most famous woman in Byzantine history.

Marie Antoinette. Joan of Arc. Elizabeth I. Victoria. Some of them were well behaved, some were not.

Kinda like when that president of mexico was married to Evita. She did well even though she slept her way to the top. She ruled the country even though she wasn't president.

Only in the west.....

Where being a slut, junkie, alcoholic, fat-ass, stick-thin etc. etc. are all good qualities to look for in a woman.

Susan B. Anthony was none of those and she made history, but by breaking the law fighting for what she believed in.

Fat-asses being a good quality is only for those who have fetishes ;)

Junkies and alcoholics are not good qualities at all, not even in the west. The only one out of those that are barely passing for a good quality is being stick thin, and even then that is mostly in SoCal, not in the rest of the US.

Depends on what she meant by well-behaved. If she was referring to women who choose to act like rebels or criminals then the answer is no seeing as you don't have to be a radical or break the law to become famous even though it helps. If she was referring to women who choose not to fight their "oppressed" role in society then the answer is still answer.

It says well-behaved women RARELY make history, so Marilyn here wasn't speaking as though she was Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. She was saying that it is a strange sight to see, a woman making history being well-behaved.
