Do you agree with the founding fathers that the state government should have more power than the federal government?

I LOVE the founders.. If they said that the state should have more power than the feds, then that's the way it should be..

However, I'd like to see a link where the founding fathers actually said that..

you need a strong central government because if you don't one state could decide everything by everyone with one wrong move so all states should have slightly less power that the federal government so everyone gets a vote fairly for any decisions needed to be made.

I think this because the central government is our main government so it needs to be powerful

I disagree because the state governments would want all the power and some type of war/battle could happen, so having a strong central government would control everyone and make sure everyone is under control.

I think they should be almost even but the central gov needs to keep the states together. But the states have different problems so they should be able to have their own little government laws but they should be ruled to keep the country from seperaring.

I think the central government needed to be a lot stronger for the fact that every state had their own government with a lot of power but the one main government should have the biggest role and should have the most power.

The federal gov should have over all power but you still need a strong central gov because they know what their people need and they know how to supply it best for their needs

I chose this side because the government should know their citizens better meaning if a situation come up they will be able to know what to do.

The United States needed a strong central government help keep them united in time of war. Without a strong central government the americans wouldnt be united cause they werent united in any way.

The federal government needs to have a certain control over the states more than the states but not to much because states need their own power to make small laws or influence the public in that sate

I think this bc they are going to end up with their own rules anyway and both ways is going to cause government

The central government needed to be stronger because it was like they were getting taken over by the state government which isn't right because they should have more power than anybody else .

A stronger central government is need to make sure the state government doesnt go crazy with power and tax people for no reason.
