If the universe is expanding away from us then Earth must be its central point.

Astro scientists continue to tell us that the cosmos is endlessly expanding into a vacant nothingness and in all directions away from planet Earth.
My interpretation of this is that we must therefore be at the centre of the universe.
With all the much vaunted cosmic activity the Big-bang must have caused how come the only known planet to sustain life is so well formed and bang-on in the center of the Universe?

I note that most scientists usually try to answer such questions with even more questions or skilfully blind us with various hypotheses which they disingenuously convert into scientific fact.

If the universe is expanding away from us then Earth must be its central point

Hello :

If what you say is true, then the earth WOULD be it's central point.. But, it's not true. The universe is expanding away from everything, it's central point being the big bang.. It's been expanding like that for the last 13.5 billion years.

The Universe is expanding AWAY FROM EARTH IN ALL DIRECTIONS.

Stand in the middle of a floor uniformly encircled by other people.

Have the other people move away from you at a constant speed while you stand still.

You will automatically become the center of that group.

The claims made about the BIG-BANG THEORY beg the following questions;-

From where did the microscopic dot which is alleged to have created the Big-Bang come?

From where did the enormously powerful microscopic dot originate?

How come infinite space was available to accommodate a Universe trillions of light years in diameter, and expanding?

How come infinite space was available to accommodate a Universe ?

Hello A:

Space wasn't just sitting there waiting for the universe to fill it. The big bang is creating the space it needs to handle its expansion...

The Big-bang (THEORY) supposedly created the gaseous elements which went to form the trillions of Galaxies that go to make up our Universe.

No one has ever claimed, or even suggested that the so called Big Bang THEORY had anything to do with the very convenient existence of endless space.

The scientific community doesn't deny that from our perspective, it appears as if things are moving directly away from us but if you were part of a cluster of people with multiple clusters all moving away from each other it would look like they were moving directly away from you. Our telescopes have already observed that other galaxies typically move away in general as if space is undergoing a process of rarefication according to NASA. As long as you agree to blindly trust that their observations say what they say they say, it appears that there is no reason to think we are the center of the univese. Or maybe thats just a lie from Satan and the earth is flat, who knows.
