Laws are primarily statements of consequences for certain acts. If there are no true consequences, then it isn’t a true law. But it is still a technical law. Laws that remain unenforced are dangerous to good public order and justice, because they can be enforced on a whim or for political reasons. Unenforced laws should be removed from the books as soon as is practicable. Side: No

If it's never been enforced, it's still the law, but needs an effort to be changed by Congress and/or the President. Hello bront: It's NOT a law.. Laws are enforced.. If it's NOT enforced, it's just some meaningless words written down in a book.. It's truly NOT a law because if they EVER try to enforce it, it would be because of SELECTIVE enforcement, and that's illegal too.. It WILL be struck down in court.. That'll save congress from doing it.. excon Side: No
It's NOT a law.. It is a law. It was voted on. Laws are enforced.. Not always. Jaywalking and speeding laws seem to be enforced rather selectively. If it's NOT enforced, it's just some meaningless words written down in a book.. Pretty much true, but not always true. It's truly NOT a law because if they EVER try to enforce it, it would be because of SELECTIVE enforcement Kind of like mafia style foundations worth billions run by former Presidents? Or Presidents using the NSA to spy on Americans and reporters? Or destroying servers with hammers that the FBI subpoened? Ahem... and that's illegal too.. Citation needed. it WILL be struck down in court.. That'll save congress from doing it.. Citation needed. Side: Yes
