Legal Violations that should not be jailable.

It seems to me that there are quite a few people who have been kidnapped by police and held against their will for no good reason.

I am curious how big of a list we can create of jailable offenses that ought not be jailable.

1. Drug use, if a woman is able to legally have enough control over her own body to the point where she can legally kill an unborn child then there is no reason why I should not be allowed to smoke marijuana.

2. Prostitution, "Selling is legal, fucking is legal. So, why isn’t it legal to sell fucking?" -George Carlin

3. Wiretapping, Obama can do it because he is the president. The president is a public servant to the taxpayers. Calling someone a public servant is pretty much just a nice way of implying that they are someone's bitch. I am a taxpayer. Therefore Obama is my bitch... why the hell is my bitch allowed to do things that I can't?

So true.

The list has endless potential because the world is a very different place than any layman could fathom, but in the spirit of "what the hell":

-A school girl is facing charges of possessing child pornography because she uploaded naked pictures of herself for her bf to see. The charges are pending but she is labeled a sex offender.

This isn't jailable, but I think it absurd how children can be expelled for bringing a Gas-X tablet to school.
