Should students be required to wear uniforms at school?

Most schools in the world interested in the officia uniforms  for students and some schools do not impose on it. If students wear anything they want, the look of the student will be unperfounil as student. so what do you think shoud student wear uniforms ?

I think that uniforms should be compulsory at school as schools are the basic place where kids learn discipline. when they learn to wear the uniform and respect it as a symbol of their disciplined behaviour, they are more likely to obey more important rules and even country laws later; this, actually, prepares them to become reliable and respectable citizens.

Your clothing is part of your identity. Humans have for ages and ages made their own clothes, with creativity and style too.

Telling someone what to wear is taking away a part of the person they are.

yes indeed it will learn them how to respect the rules in the future and also it will keep their mind away of being district by what should they wear in the next day or how do they will look like, schools will be a place to show off the clothes and the purpose of learning will be lost.

Its a waist of money and time , some of students will make fun of students who doesn't wear a fashionable clothes and the difference in the community layers will show and that may make some of the students feel uncomfortable with it.

I am really hoping that this debate is not being argued by native English speaking people. I am not making fun of anyone who isn't a native English speaker. I give full respect to people who are using a second language. If this debate is being argued by native English speakers, almost all of you have more important things to consider than what you are wearing. I'm not trying to be mean in that you cant spell or have mildly improper grammar; there is a button that allows you to have the computer check your spelling before you post an argument; just have the respect for the English language to click that button before you publicly post your views on anything going on in schools. To the debate; individuality should be encouraged, no uniforms. There are already too many ways that schools impose conformity on students, let them wear the clothes they want, providing they aren't ridiculous.
