I agree with you, as Singapore has very little natural resources so we have to obtain them through trade with other countries

Could you explain in what ways Singapore's Political Connections have helped her grow from a small trading port to where we are today?

I think that Economic connection is the most important for Singapore today. Trade is important as Singapore is a small country and certain things can only be obtained from other countries through trade, even most products we see in supermarkets or shops are from other countries such as China and Japan.
