Nothing really happens until we make it happen!
It's a good way I think to prevent revolutions, voilence & protests in the world. It's important to learn to resolve matters by diplomacy or everything simply just builds up & is then bound to explode.
Kids are like a programmable blank disc.
1. If we treat them as equals, they'll grow up to treat everyone else as their equals.
2. If we treat them as some cute idiot creature, they'll grow up like that, dependant (especially on external validation)+ probably feel inferior sometime in their life.
3. If we treat them as geniuses, they'll grow up with the focus on the thought patterns which prefer to classify people as geniuses or idiots + probably feel superior sometime in their life.
So I would say it's probably the best to not have them as our own personal therapic bunny to get relief from our dull lives OR even treat them as grown-ups which they obviously aren't.
Simply treat them as a learning human which we all always are & get them ready as much as we can for their life & survival by giving them necessary knowledge & experiences.
