have you compared the amount of energy produced between such a missile and a transformer's punch? and suppose some amount of energon travels with each punch and contributes enough energy to cause the damage, assuming the punch itself really isn't enough to damage another transformer. there may be underlying forces at work that people cannot plainly see.
