Lažne vijesti stvaraju nepovjerenje među ljudima u javnosti jer se ne zna kome vjerovati. Svaki mediji prenose neke svoje lažne vijesti kojima uljepšavaju istinu ili je jednostavno prikrivaju zbog nekog višeg cilja. Smatram da je bitno ljudima reći istinu i prenijeti pravo stanje stvari u medijima, pa makar to dovelo do panike ili zabrinutosti među ljudima. Također, lažne vijesti mogu ugroziti ljudske živote ako se radi o npr. ublažavanju posljedica koje su nastale nakon ekološke katastrofe.
