How high can you count?

If you had all the time and patience in the world, how high could you theoretically count before you didn't know what the next number was? You have to be able to say the words (e.g., "nine hundred ninety-nine"), not just write the numbers ("999"). No googling.

Never took the time to see such a pointless endeavor.---------

Maybe at least four hundred thousand nine hundred and seventeen. I think I can do that. After that I may forget.

One Googol, I think I win, and if you want it in the form of numbers 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

You're missing a zero, and you can't count that high. How do you say the integer that precedes it?

I sorta give up at about one hundred because I get bored :P

9 999 999 after that it would be quite dizzy. :D

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 ummm... 11? NO! ummm... 7,6 wait! um, 6,7,8,9.... 10! Yea thats how high I can count!

Although it would probably take MANY tries, because I'm sure I would lose count many times, eventually I could count to nine hundred ninety-nine sextillion nine hundred ninety-nine quintillion nine hundred ninety-nine quadrillioin nine hundred ninety-nine trillion nine hundred ninety-nine billion nine hundred ninety-nine million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine.

Pretty much the same for me, though I knew septillion was next. I took a guess at the next three things, and turned out to be right. I think I looked them up a long time ago.

You can't count to 4? :)

hell no!

I tried, but you know 1...2...3.forgetaboutit

It takes too long.

I can count up to pi.

The minimum length for an argument is 50 characters. The purpose of this restriction is to cut down on the amount of dumb jokes, so we can keep the quality of debate and discourse as high as possible.

That's below average for your age group.

Did you mean googolplex? If not, what is a googolplexian?

Wouldn't One Googolplexian and one be the next number?

I can count to the stars. Well, I can try. My wishful imagination is at work.
