You do not need identity politics to identify people as socially positioned by racial belief. That's a subtle assumption built into the narrative in order to justify it's existence, but it's completely inessential and actively antithetical to ending identify based prejudices. Side: Iz
Yes. It’s a divide and conquer strategy and is tribalizing Americans into groups in conflict with each other. At a point time in the future, our ability to execute our laws, have a national identity, control our borders may give way into such inner strife, that it opens the country for a centralized world power to seize and occupy the United States. However, there’s prerequisite which has to be met before any collection of nations in world attempt occupy the United States, all the guns must be confiscated. In the meantime, people will continue to be broken down into groups, then smaller groups and then even smaller groups where everyone is against everyone and there is no unity. At which point the Marxist have to figure out what to do, if the guns have not been collected by then. Do they do go in with brute force and hope for the best in the middle of chaos, gambling on attrition? Do they do sit back and watch engaged in analysis-paralysis, What about all those guns? Side: Is

Hardly. Marxism is a form of identity politics, but the latter encompasses a much broader range of ideologies. Marxism is limited to class based identity and regards everything else as secondary, at best. Moreover, identitarian based ideologies aren't exclusively leftist either; white pride and nationalist groups are also engaged in identity politics, for instance. Side: Iz
