If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.

It'd have to be at the island I went to with my boyfriend last year. No one knew where we were, and we had peace for a week. I want that on repeat forever.
It was an island off the coast of North Carolina, I don't even remember what it's called, which kind of makes it more special to me. And it was both sweet and exciting. He told me, while we were there, if we were old enough and he had a ring he'd propose to me there. XD But Yeah... I'm rambling, sorry.
Wow ... never heard of parents that would let their seventeen year old daughter jet off to a far off island with her twenty-one year old boyfriend ... sounds rather irresponsible of them if you ask me ... no offence ...
We live in North Carolina, it was within driving distance. And it took a LOT of convincing, so they're not irresponsible. My mom called me about twice a day and I kept her updated.
Hmm ... Japan is an interesting choice. Not a destination that I would choose, but each to their own. San Fransisco sounds awesome! Same with Australia, been there a couple times - it was an incredible experience!
What can I say, I've always been fascinated by Japan. Some of the areas have incredible landscapes, the history and culture are very interesting and intriguing to me, and I do enjoy both traditional and modern forms of Japanese entertainment.
Really I'd love to go almost anywhere I haven't been. I'm curious to see how other cultures live.
Come to the Bahamas! You will very much like our culture, we are laid back and will give you an incredible time! The weather is incredible and our beaches are gorgeous. There is nothing that could be improved here. :)
I'd be...with my best friends...all of them together. I never get to see all of them together, so being able to do that would make me extremely happy. =)
do you know where 10 Downing street is and who lives there? of course the only real way to live there is to occupy the position of the owner or to become one of the staff , and I would rather not be the latter.
This isn't really whether I'ld like it or not it's just the amount of power that comes with it.
Sorry for assuming that your amount of knowledge on the British Governmental system would be at a minimum but I have to keep in mind that many debaters on this site(english speaking people) tend to be completly ignorant amercans.
Right now I'd want to be in South Carolina (probably walking Myrtle Beach or the stores next to Myrtle Beach) with my boyfriend and my best friends. The roads out there sparkle because they mix seashells with cement. It's so beautiful!
I'd be in a desert island watching the cristal clear wavy sea, catching some sun and cooking a fish, with at least one splendidly tanned girl looking at me with a naughty smile.
