Does it come from taxes? Yes, and everybody pays taxes, so SOME of that money does indeed belong to the people who paid taxes. Does it come from the government printing presses? Yes, and that money also belongs to everybody... In fact, the only people who don't work for their money, are people who live off their capital. Should they pay the same rate of taxes that you and I do?? Of course.. Until that happens, we, as ordinary tax payers, are subsidizing the wealthy.. I assume your question was referring to the workshy idlers, lazy layabouts and of course those with sufficient animal cunning to know how to milk the benefit system. Those countless thousands of parasites who at no time worked a day in their lives never paid a cent in taxes, ( how could they?) as the existing liberal laws permits them to leech off the hard working taxpayers without having to provide evidence that they have a physical or mental impairment which prevents them from engaging in gainful employment. We have a labor shortage but due to Bungling Biden's policy of paying people more than they would earn working the available positions remain vacant.
