This is BS! Islam is the recruiting tool, weak-minded fools are its fodder. Gitmo is doing fine; it is doing the job it was intended to do: incarcerating pedophile worshipers in a facility far away from the mainland and with applicable military laws. The public perception of Gitmo is a direct result of the left trying to undermine Bush by making treatment of terrorists a human rights issue. It was also the left who made is a lighting rod for recruitment of terrorists organizations world wide, assuming Obama is accurate, which he's not. Now if you move the terrorist from one detention center to another why does that not make the U.S. Penitentiary System a recruiting tool for terrorist ? Because the terrorists will be treated like actual criminals instead of being tortured and treated like more than criminals. The real question is, if you think standard penitentiaries are as good as GITMO, why would you care about Obama closing it down? |
