There are several gods. In the book of Genesis, God used a plural pronoun to refer to himself (herself, itself, or themselves), implying that there is more than one god up there. And God said, let us make man in our image. Genesis 1:26 And the Lord God said, Behold, then man is become as one of us, to know good and evil. Genesis 3:22 Let us go down, and there confound their language. Genesis 11:7 The Old Testament God is a “god of gods” who is worshiped by the other gods.. For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords. Deuteronomy 10:17 Worship him, all ye gods. Psalm 97:7 O give thanks unto the God of gods. Psalm 136:2 No other god is like him. Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord. Psalm 86:8 He is better than the other gods. Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Exodus 15:11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods. Exodus 18:11 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. ... Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them. Exodus 20:3-5 What God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works? Deuteronomy 3:24 Our Lord is above all gods. Psalm 135:5 Side: Slappy--you gotta point!

Yes!! There are so obviously many gods. It makes much more sense than only having one. Especially one as lame and petty as Yahweh seems to have been. Among the god pantheon he prolly has a rep as the local bully boy, the type who always got bad grades and came from a shitty home and so he grew up as a bully and very neurotic about being abandoned. makes so much sense in god psychology. Also explains why his presence is NOT discernible in the slightest in our world. But the presence of all the other gods, like the nature gods and the Evil gods, IS present in the world. Think I am on to something here. Might take a break from school to write a book, "Yahweh: Not One--but only one of Many." think that is a good title? SS Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
Indeed. A fun game I used to play to fuck with Christians was....I'd dare them to name one tenet of theirs, like one story or fable from their precious Bible, let's say the flood story, or Jesus raising from the dead, and I would bet them I could find an earlier religion or cult that the Bible stoled the story from. Even though these poor Christians thought the story was unique to Christianity I would always prove them wrong. I never lost a bet or was unable to find a predated story that was the real source the Bible stole from. I continue to offer that bet today! Takers? LOL I am a Christians worst nightmare...a rabid atheist who knows more about the history of the Bible and their religion than 90% of Christians do. And who also knows enough science to show how most of the Bible stories are pure mythos. Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
The Trinity existed in Genesis. Jesus said I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightening ... And He saw Abraham's day etc.. What you don't understand is God the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit existed in Genesis.. and it is plainly told that way. So it wasn't a mistake. The reason the prophets kept saying "The Lord our God is One" Is because they knew there were 3 persons within the light of God. God is Light. Jesus is light. The Holy Spirit is light! Can light be everywhere at once? Can light be in 3 different times at once? The prophets actually understood light before our modern day. Then also Jesus says we are gods, and He also says Satan is the god of this world. So you are correct Slappy! Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
There are 3 possible God's 1 of the 3 possible is the Trinity, I mentioned the concept of light. 2 Satan the god of this world, who has already been judged 3 we are gods, worship of self God is a jealous God because out of all these options there really is only 1 option that will remain. God is not jealous as we understand "the feeling of jealousy" He is jealous because according to Him nothing else will remain but the light of God and those who are in the light. Its a term of singularity, not a feeling known in our nature. Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
As far as you reading and not seeing, we'll it's a sealed book to you. Isaiah 29 11 The entire vision will be to you like the words of a sealed book, which when they give it to the one who is literate , saying, "Please read this," he will say, "I cannot , for it is sealed." 12 Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate , saying, "Please read this." And he will say, "I cannot read ." Daniel 12
The Time of the End 1 "Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. 2 "Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. 3 "Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase." Shine like the sun; children of light. Children of light are in the light. They will remain and be light also. Eternal life? Where does time stand eternally still? This is a spiritual concept, but I hope it makes you question enough to consider truth in that Book. Our natural bodies can't turn into light, and its actually amazing that we are made up of electricity. Its actually Biblical! Our bodies would have to be transformed into beings of light to have Eternal life! And it's amazing if you understand the science of light!!! The prophets absolutely understood it. God took their minds down paths of past present and future using a lifetime shown in a moment by light, that's why they All called Him light!!!! And in Daniel, God says knowledge will increase toward the end. I've been a Christian for 30 years, and these things have just started to be unsealed! This is what Paul says in Corintians: (notice our bodies will change like a "twinkling, bright like light in stars!) (Death has no power, because in perfect light, it's eternal, there is no aging and no death!) 38 But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish. 40 There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So also it is written, "The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. 47 The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly. The Mystery of Resurrection 50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 55 "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. It's amazing all Heavenly Bodies appear as light! And after Jesus rose from the dead His body was glorified into a body made up of light. And He appeared to many at once! His physical body was transformed in glory to light. If our physical bodies could be reduced to the electricity we are made up of, could we become glorified in light, and move with light? John in revelations, I think out of every prophet, John traveled the future and experienced the concept of light more than all others. And it is seen in all of his writings. He refers interchangeably between light, love, and being one, and us being unique yet one, all in becoming light. There is no disconnect in purchasing light. See New Jerusalem. Eternal life, a Kingdom of LIGHT. No night, only day. And no sun needed because we will LIVE IN LIGHT, which IS living in actual Light. God is Pure Light. How did these people understand light so well?? Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
Even in end times when He joins the living saints with the saints in the 2nd resurection. They call it rapture. We will be transformed in an instant. Everthing will pass away. Only light will not be destroyed. So I'm not sure when that process will happen in the last of the last days. But we will be caught up and transformed into light. God moves in light because He is Light. And Light is perfect Love. Because there is no darkness or division in perfect Light! Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
And if you look at the trumpet blowing in the walls of Jericho, wasn't God showing that in a blast of a trumpet the natural will fall. And then the interpretation of the event that did occur in the natural to show and explain the supernatural. If God transform us into light, He can can make the walls fall and split the sea Side: Slappy--you gotta point!
