I am completely deaf since I was born and always wear hearing aids on both of my ears, BUT because of hard work or practice I have been doing at how to speak orally and pick right-balance volume of my own voice without sign language at all since I was small until now may will make you open your mind a little bit more about this debate and whatever topic debate about deaf people. And oh actually the cochlear implants is not cool idea to do because it brings a risk for life.
How about it: "Before you choose the games you want to play" = right that moment you don't have all the answers -> "You try to pick the games you want to play because you think like who knows that's a good game to play" = right that moment you just found the curiosity when you don't have all the answers --> then "You're playing the games and say WOW! Like these games actually!" = Your life in that moment just became interesting to know that you just liked these games which you didn't have all the answers.
Yes, that's right what you said, but.. Sometimes the debates can help us see and know how bad or what to deal with the conflict about the disabilities discrimination because the fact is there is still discrimination happening around from the social environments, workplace through marriage.
Oh yeah, because life must go on and I want to cheer my parents, my people I love, and whole family up a bit by working hard at communication with hearing people. You need some good friends and so do I, right? I mean, what is wrong so much if the deaf people cannot make friends with hearing people? Do you know this quote:"Life is more interesting if you don't have all the answers."? That's how life goes on and should be.
About the spanking children -- yes only when the children have gone bad to everyone which can hurt their parents' hearts that badly. Oh yeah I know, from long long time ago which we can call it as old generations, the parents get used to punish children by spanking with their hands and that cannot be happening this new era as we know and see, but I mean.. like if I notice my son/daughter do bad things so much and I cannot spank them as the "wake up call" for them such as telling them, even with high tones telling them not to do bad things, but then they still do bad things over and over again, you know what... Also, it all depends on the parents know where to spank, obviously.
Just remember, life is all about balance which means we know how to do and important schedule (time and date) the things we should and should not do. Life is not all about playing or full of fun, but also sometimes we need to smell rose from busy time.
Yes, I am deaf, completely deaf since I was born. It is truth because I have been trying hard to learn how to speak orally with my own voice and balancing the volume like the way hearing people speak, writing right sentences, and reading a lot sentences. And now I can speak in my mother language and English well. I've got a miracle from Him while I've worked and passed through it all with my strengths and spirit. How about you? Are you deaf also? How about this sentences "Oh, you are deaf, but we will work it together. Don't worry."? And of course, communication is the best way to unlock the key of any relationships. But, hey.. realize that we cannot be all alone and do anything on our own, then, if the deaf people shouldn't be treated equally with hearing people? Why not? The deaf people are humans who have feelings, too!
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
