Tourism contributes to more than 5 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, with transportation accounting 90 percent of this. It would also put an enormous stress on local land use, which would lead to soil erosion, increased pollution and habitat loss. These effects would gradually destroy the environmental resources.
yes, museums are important as it ensures that our history is not forgotten and preserves it. It also serves as a place where a lot of general knowledge can be learnt For example the national museum of Singapore is the oldest museum in Singapore and its history dates back to 1849. Hence, Singaporeans go there often for history project. Therefore, i think museums are important.
