Yes, toy weapons are harmful to children. Children have trouble distinguishing between fantasy and reality. If children are allowed to play with guns and act out violence while using these toys they could become desensitized to not only guns but violence itself. Also, toy weapons are more dominant among male children causing a sense of masculine dominance and sexiest stereotyping. Just as we associate the color blue with boys and girls with pink the same goes for toys. This affects the outlook that children have on everyday society as well as what types of toys are appropriate for boys and girls.

Social networking sites are bad because they can cause shortened attention spans, cause you to lose interpersonal communication skills and are addictive. Social media has become a huge part of our society. Everything has an app, website, Twitter or Facebook page. Although convenient and entertaining, social media is now becoming harmful. Based on information available at socialtimes.com, the average attention span has dropped from 12 minutes to 5 minutes. When there are sudden changes in our environment our bodies release adrenaline and Oxytocin is released in our brains during social interaction these both can cause addictive behaviors in social media settings. Oxytocin is the hormone that is responsible for stimulating trust and empathy. Most times it is released during face to face social interaction. Social networking gives the same affect as though we were talking to family and friends face to face. The only problem is people prefer the social network rather than actually spending time with family and friends. This lowers your ability and, want to carry on everyday normal conversations. I don't believe that its the social network sites themselves that are bad, we should start to not spend so much time entertaining these sites and interact more with one another face to face.

In the event of a Zombie Apocalypse or any time of universal disaster it is always a good idea to have a well-informed laid out plan. This will help control the chaos that is within your family and your community. There will always be a need for leaders, action and a “safe place.” In the event of Zombies, one would think they would need to be in a remote area of safety; preferably one that is on an island or only has one road for access with appropriate defense on the entrance. Since the world has never dealt with an emergency on the level of a zombie apocalypse, it would become a case of “every man for himself.”

In my case, I would start with a neutral area that I could meet up with family and close friends. I would want it to be a semi-remote town that still had access to medical facilities, well-proportioned defense, access to clean water and alternative forms of energy in case electricity was unavailable. The town will also need to be able to produce its own food and have a decent means of agriculture. This town would also need a means of communication with the outside world, in the event that a vaccine is found and it is safe for travel again. Again, this is why an island would be best suited for a situation of this magnitude. You would be able to control who enters the town and who leaves the town as well as take care of the inhabitants on the island.

There would need to be a leader-President of sorts, of the island and the top officials would need to be a mix of scientists, medical personnel, military and defense coordinators, law enforcement as well as education. If the community is to survive as a whole, there needs to be order. The town would have to work together, in order to survive. Every person would need to be able to handle a gun, administer first aid, and pull their own weight with chores or providing a means of income for the family- only the strong would survive.

I believe that although child support should not be used directly for the benefit of the mother in most cases some of the funds do go to the mother in order to assist with the raising of the child. For instance, gas to take the child to and from daycare or school, money for groceries which both the child and mother may eat as well as assisting with household utilities. In this sense of the question I do believe that child support should be used for the benefit of the mother and the child. Not for personal maintenance, to buy a new pair of shoes or that new outfit that you just have to have.

Bullies should not go to jail for bullying. There is no law that has been put in place that states that anyone can be charged for "bullying." If the situation turns into a true crime than yes, the bully should be charged to the full extent of the law for the crime that was committed. Bullying is wrong and affects people in different ways but unfortunatley there is no law against bullying itself.

If you look at the benefits of eliminating junk food from your diet I would say yes but due to the fact that people have a right to consume what they choose, and that determining what is, and what is not junk food as well as stopping production would be too costly. If the government were to ban junk food they would have to initiate a program to do so which costs money. Tax payer money at that. Not to mention thousands of jobs adding to the unemployment crisis. Who would decide what was and was not considered junk? Would they base it on calories, sugar carbs? It would simply be easier for people to practice moderation and personal restraint.
