While I agree with the sentiment of your argument, life without government taxation is not realistic. Without tax money to keep the government running, the nation would quickly descend into anarchy.
I believe we should be taxed. Although I do not agree with all taxes, without them the government would have no feasible manner with which to carry out necessary tasks. Most people would not willingly give money to the government to keep our nation running. I believe money should be spent more wisely and government spending should be carefully monitored, but in order to spend money, taxes have to be used. Additionally, government workers such as police officers and firefighters would not receive pay if taxes did not exist.
