I know how everyone has been saying that these artifacts should be returned back to Africa but who would not want to see the wonders of the world of Ancient Africa. Keeping these artifacts would help us learn so much about the ancient history of a continent that has had this culture for thousands of years. "It was the looting of Benin that made the African art visible to Europeans. When the seized artifacts were sold entering the collections of museums, there was a sense of surprise and mystification." So i believe that these artifacts should stay where they are now to show the world this awesome culture.

I hate those nasty Europeans that are always stealing from these innocent villages that have done nothing to them. I would fight to my death for these historical artifacts that would bring back my culture to reality and it will no longer be questioned by humanity. "When we saw the removal as a grave injustice and we are hoping that someday people will see why we are asking for these artifacts back," says Prince Edun. I would love if the prince was still alive because i would help him win against the Europeans to give us back the artifacts that rightfully belong to us Africans.

Keeping these artifacts would be amazing to the British museum so that the entire world can see africa's awesome cultures artifacts and how it tells the past of the ancient culture. I know that keeping these artifacts away from africa is wrong but who doesn't want to see one of the oldest cultures in the world? According to the British Library they had no power to give back the manuscripts writen by the africans during this time period. The main cause of all of these artifacts getting looted was because of all of the poverty in africa and how their money was easy to steal, so that the Europeans had an advantage of taking over their land that they wanted from the africans. Keeping some parts of africa that were the most important parts of the continent were the parts that traded the most and were not below the poverty line.
