Yes, but it would not be particularly impressive to walk past a school and instead of seeing children dressed smartly in school uniform to see children slumped around in tracksuits looking like they've just stepped out of bed. They may as well just come in pyjamas if sports wear was an option!

Surely in this day and age most people can find multiple ways to channel their personality, converation, music, art etc.

No we shouldn't it is a waste of our time and money, if the affects are as bad as we are told then we are too late to help anyway and as harsh as it may sound this is not our burden it is the next generations.
