What I like about Libertarians is their ability to remove the Social Agenda from their platform. There's none of this endless debate about abortion, prayer in schools, and gay marriage (since that really isn't the role of government anyway). Some Libertarians go too far, supporting a deconstructionist government that borders on anarchy. While I have long conceded that government is entirely too large, there's often a tendency to cut everything (and I can't support that view either).

Mental health is such a gray area. I mean how do you really know what's going on inside a person's head...AND do you really want to? Sometimes, I'll see the seemingly normal guy who's on the government dole, because he has this "ism" or that "ism". And I start to think "none of these fuckers are any crazier than I am!" But they are (some of them).
I hate to hit a tender spot, but it's kind of like that guy that shot up that theater in Colorado. For all intents and purposes, he was a smart guy. Yet they find this dude with Kool-aid Red hair, crouched in a parking lot, saying "I am the Joker!". And everyone says: "What's going on here?" And that's when I say "see that dude thinks he's the Joker... No! REALLY! He thinks he's the Joker." How does one get to that level of Batshit Craziness without being noticed?

"Ya know I was just over here praising the Lord and God said to me... etc. etc. etc." To me, that's some seriously scary shit! Invariably, what God tells them is opposite of what God tells everybody else. No one's ever built a compound or asked the Congregation to drink the Kool-Aid without God first telling them to do it.
