Well. A little bit of everything might be good for our bodies, but too much is definitely not good. French fries are potatoes that are FRIED. Meaning it's not just the potato that we think that is good for producing energy. When making french fries, you have to deep fry the cut out potatoes in oil. Making the percentage of junk(fat, carbs, sodium, etc.) boost up higher than the percentage of the nutriants we actually need from the potato. And seriously. Do you think it's possible for you to actually make your own french fries every time you eat it? Also, the term "French fries" are most commonly used pointing towards the fast-food industry. Which means that those french fries aren't even made out of real potatoes. They don't even change the oil that often because they think it's a waste of money. They use the same oil for two or three days, until it gets very dark.. almost like coffee. It's just trash. Kids need lots of fresh food with actual nutrients that enable their organs to work, especially their brains. And yes, a little bit of junk food once in a while won't hurt very much. But eating french fries everyday won't do anything but just storing more fat into your body. So.. kids should NOT eat french fries every day.
